Whole Iraq Tour

What's it all about?

The first part of our Whole Iraq Tour takes us to the autonomous region of Iraqi Kurdistan. Northern Iraq offers not only safety, but stunning mountain ranges with more than 3000 archaeological sites and some of the most friendly people on the planet. We’ll explore the whole region before taking a domestic flight south to Baghdad.

We conducted our first ever research tour to Baghdad and Southern Iraq in April 2018 and followed it up with our first regular Iraq tours. The country proved to not only be safe but incredibly informative & fascinating. Mesopotamia is spoiled with world-class heritage and is completely unspoiled by tourism meaning we will often feel like the only foreign travelers in town.

There is a huge amount of ancient and modern history waiting to be explored in Iraq. We’ll travel from Baghdad to the holy cities of Najaf & Karbala, southwards to Babylon and the Mesopotamian marshlands and onto Basra before returning to the capital and central city of Samarra. We cover a huge amount of ground with our expert local guide explaining all as we go.

Join us for this rare opportunity and see the whole of Iraq!
