Visit The Famous Karakoram Highway With Our Tours
One of the best tourist attractions in Pakistan, the Karakoram highway is also one of the highest paved roads in the world.
Extending for 1,300 km, it’s often known as the ‘8th Wonder of the World’ and was one of the pathways of the ancient Silk Road.
Constructed in 1966, the Karakoram Highway has won awards for being ‘the best mountain road’ and you’ll soon discover why. A spectacular highway, it was a labour of love to construct and has many famous landmarks along the way.
Our 2023 tour to the Karakoram Highway takes you from Islamabad to Passu via Fairy Meadows, Gilgit, the Hunza Valley, Peshawar and much more.
This tour takes place in September and lasts for 12 days, so there’s still plenty of time to join us! We can even help get a Visa through our partners in Pakistan. Since the group size is no more than 10 people, you can easily get to know fellow travellers.
As with many more unusual destinations, you might be concerned about safety. So, how safe is this 2023 tour?
Because Rocky Road Travel’s tour takes you from Islamabad to the northern area, it’s away from any potential trouble spots. You’ll also find that the Pakistanis are generally welcoming to outsiders, and our team will do everything to keep you safe.
